Parasites in Paradise

I don’t want to be a parasite
I wish to bring goodness
into other’s worlds
as they bring goodness
into mine
I want to give love
not pain
to those that open their
soul up to mine
Many have shown me kindly
the way to peace and light
I want to share my goodness now
with the world
But I have been lost many times
And I don’t want to die without
showing my gratitude
